The drudgery associated with small holder farming further erodes their ability to sustainable livelihood. Access to land, lack of appropriate machinery, relevant skills, inaccessibility to quality seeds, access and affordable finance and good agronomic practices are challenges that continues to hinder women and youth from profitable markets.

Tibzaa is determined to continue supporting women and youth in skills enhancement, provide mechanization services to address drudgery towards improved production ultimately leading to sustainable profits. We have to an extent achieved that and would like to enhance our support through upgrade of some equipment. There is exceptional demand for Shelling services of groundnuts – a key women crop in the Mion District of Northern Ghana.
